Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can. This page explains what, why, and for how long. The controller is [company name, registration number, address]. Questions: hello@redie.ai.

1. What we collect

• Web address of your shop, when you enter it for a check.
• Email address, only if you leave it with us, for example to receive a report or to start a plan.
• Measurement results: what AI assistants and public pages say about publicly available websites.
• Server logs: IP address, time and requested page. We use these to prevent abuse and keep them for 30 days.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use functional storage that the site needs to work, such as remembering a setting. We do not run analytics that follow you around.

2. Why we use it

• To run the check and deliver your report.
• To contact you about your check or your plan.
• To keep the service secure and stop abuse.

3. Legal basis

For delivering a check or plan you asked for, the basis is performing an agreement (or steps you asked for before one). For logs and abuse prevention, the basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.

4. Who processes data for us

• Vercel: hosting of the website.
• Supabase: database for results and, if you leave it, your email.
• Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Perplexity: AI assistants that we ask the shopping questions. Only the questions go to them, for example "best duvet for hot sleepers". Your email address is never sent to them.

These providers may process data outside the EU. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

• Server logs: 30 days.
• Email address: while you are a customer or waiting for a report, and deleted on request.
• Measurement results: as long as they are useful for your reports. We delete them on request.

6. We do not sell data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors above, unless the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR (AVG) you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, and you can object to or limit its use. Email hello@redie.ai. We answer within one month. If you feel we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
